Life in Oz so far.......
Hello, I bet you all thought that I had forgotten about this blog...... well I haven't.....its just been a busy couple of days!!!! My apologies in advance for no picture today.....i know I am hopeless, but I haven't had a chance to take much photo's and its raining, I would much prefer for the waether to be really lovely, and then that will make you lot more jealous ha ha!!!! I know I am very nasty!!!!
Well where do I start, leaving home and the aiport was really hard, I honestly thought that I would turn back.....I was walking around Heathrow airport just crying........but once I arrived in Sydney I realised that I had made the right decision. This is a small planet as it is, and I want to see the world so I have to do this, and so far so good I am enjoying it!!!!
The Wake Up hostel is really really nice, there are lockers in all the bedrooms and it is very very clean (for all you OCD people out there), and for the boys.....the men's toilet and wash room is very very nice and clean just like the ladies.....before you judge me I assumed that the bathroom was unisex......just lucky none of the boys decided to come in when I was having a shower....I would have been talk of the hostel otherwise!!!!
The Side Bar at the Wake Up Hostel is very nice, rather expensive if you are not there during the happy hour, but the chardonnay was very nice, and I managed to drink two pints of Snake Bite in a space of an hour.....i think that is a record for me!!!!! And before Paul Matier asks, yes i went to the bar on my own and ordered my drink on my own, but everyone is sooooooooo friendly you get talking to well jsut about anyone, and the band there were really cool, they looked liked Mcfly but sang loads of cover songs from Champagne Supernova to Sweet Home Alabama......i absolutely loved it!!!!!
